  • Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
  • Reading and writing abilities

  • Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles
  • Farm work experience (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of various farm activities (advantageous)

Farm Aid Duties:

  • Maintain research trails, irrigation, and apply herbicides
  • Care for livestock, including dipping, vaccination, and dosing
  • Daily livestock counting
  • Clean farm facilities and dispose of waste materials
  • Load and unload materials
  • Participate in firefighting and prevention
  • Maintain farm infrastructure such as animal handling facilities, fences, roads, water supply, and buildings
