Applications for the NSFAS Bursary 2023 are Now Open

Online applications for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) 2023 will be available until 31 January 2023. The application deadline for NSFAS 2023 must therefore be considered and prepared before the application deadline.

For the 2023-2024 academic cycle, students are advised to apply online by 31 January 2023.

1. Type in first names (as per ID number)
2. Type in Surname (as per ID number)
3. Type in your ID number (will your username)
4. Type in your own Email address
5. Type in your own Cellphone number
6. Accept terms and conditions Tick the box provided, to allow NSFAS to check the information provided (compulsory)
7. Create a Password, To (protect your account)

ID number, Names and Surname is validated against the Department of Home Affairs database. Only valid South African ID information will be accepted.

NSFAS Bursary Application 2023: How do I apply?

Application for NSFAS for the 2023-2024 academic year can be made via the online application portal 2023-2024.

1. To apply online, go to www.nsfas.org.za
2. After that, you create an account with myNSFAS.
3. On the NSFAS website, click “Apply”
4. Make sure all information on the NSFAS online application 2023-2024 is up-to-date before proceeding
5. For the 2023 application, upload supporting documents from NSFAS.
6. Once you have completed the process, click “SUBMIT”.
